An All India Radio-graded artist, she performs across India and internationally, known for precise layakari and a patient, structured approach to raga. [**Raag Shree**](/en-au/raga/shree) is a twilight raga of considerable gravity, associated with introspection and devotion. It builds from a sustained **Alap** through Vilambit compositions that take time to establish each phrase, then accelerates into Drut and Tarana. The raga asks the listener to stay with its extended, deliberate development. This album documents a full classical progression: Alap, **Vilambit, Drut, and Tarana**, followed by the bandish *Manwa More* and the bhajan *Mhare Ghar Aao*. Across seven tracks, Vernekar covers the raga's range from its open, unhurried beginning to the rhythmic precision of the Tarana. ### Artist [ Tejaswini Digamber Vernekar ](/en-au/artist/tejaswini-digamber-vernekar) ### Album Info Release Date March 24, 2026 Total Tracks 7 Duration 59 min Genre Tejaswini Vernekar (Live from Purvi Festival 2023)
