What services KalaSudha offers
KalaSudha presents concerts of Indian classical music and dance in the UK, Europe and India, produces recordings and videos, teaches every discipline and sells instruments. Our series include the Kala Festival, our touring festival, London Ragas, our concert series in London, and Kala Concert, our themed series in India. A London Ragas evening is a baithak: a small, seated concert with the audience close to the musicians. We release our recordings and videos worldwide, and members stream our live concerts and recordings on our own platform.
Our academy teaches online, in structured courses and live lessons, in English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu, Malayalam, French and German, with workshops, summer camps and a residential camp in India. We sell each instrument by quote or made to order, deliver and service it worldwide, and run repair workshops with the makers who build them. For artists, we provide recording and video production and record interviews and podcasts. KalaSudha also has an art gallery. KalaSudha Composer, our notation editor for Hindustani classical music, runs in the browser.
Presenters anywhere in the world book our artists; so do hosts of weddings and private events, film and TV producers, teachers, schools, sponsors and collaborators.
