# How can an Indian classical dancer get performances in the UK and Europe?

 Updated 26 October 2026

An Indian classical dancer can get performances in the UK and Europe through KalaSudha, which presents the dancers it promotes in its own concerts and tours. We also introduce our dancers to partner presenters and venues.

KalaSudha's own events include the Kala Festival, a touring festival of Indian classical music in UK cities. The [Kathak](/dance/kathak) dancer Alokparna Guha has performed there, as have the Indian slide guitarist Pandit Debasis Chakroborty and the tabla player Ustad Akram Khan.
