# Can I photograph or film the performance?

 Updated 19 October 2026

Not during the main performance. The musicians improvise, and a raised camera pulls the room out of the music, so please keep cameras and phones down while they play.

At the end of the concert, take photos and short clips. KalaSudha encourages it, and the musicians enjoy seeing them shared.

KalaSudha does not allow long recordings of the music for public release, in any form. If you are covering the concert for press, or need to record it for another reason, write to <contact@kalasudha.com> before the day. For phones in general, see [Can I use my phone during the concert?](/faq/at-the-concert/can-i-use-my-phone-during-the-concert)
