## About KalaSudha in Jalgaon

Indian classical music in Jalgaon was set for a three-day festival stage of its own in January 2026. In December 2025 the Free Press Journal reported that the **Balgandharva Music Festival** would run from 9 to 11 January at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje Natyamandir, with classical and semi-classical singing from 7pm to 11pm.

KalaSudha's [online courses](/en-gb/courses) teach tabla and Kathak, the drum and the dance of north India, with every other discipline beside them. Foundation is assessed through practical work and spoken questions, and each level ends in a KalaSudha certificate or diploma. An instructor reviews the work before any topic is marked complete. A large enough group of Jalgaon learners brings workshops and summer camps to the city. Learners of other teachers can ask KalaSudha for an assessment against its skill milestones.

KalaSudha also presents concerts, among them the Kala Festival, a touring festival, and its recordings and concert videos play online.
