Where can I learn dilruba online with a live teacher?

KalaSudha teaches the dilruba online, live and one-to-one with a vetted teacher. The dilruba joins a fretted neck like the sitar's to a skin-covered body like the sarangi's, with sympathetic strings that answer the bowed melody. Players use it in Gurmat Sangeet, the Sikh tradition of singing scripture in prescribed ragas, and in classical music.

At Foundation you sit with the dilruba upright, its top against your left shoulder, and draw full bow strokes on one note until the tone stays even. Our online academy records each lesson and adds workshops and summer camps where enough learners sign up.
