About This Track
Pandit Debasis Chakroborty turns to Raga Miyan Ki Malhar, the monsoon raga tradition credits to Tansen, with a solo alap on Indian slide guitar. In under six minutes he sketches the raga's komal Ga and its two forms of Ni before the tabla returns.
The alap opens the second raga on Norwich Ragas, after four Bageshri tracks. A gat in jhaptaal follows on track 6.
