# Which organisations fund concerts and recordings for Indian classical artists?

 Updated 26 October 2026

KalaSudha pays for concerts and [recordings](/releases) of Indian classical music through its artists development fund, which also pays for the promotion of the art forms. A share of every paid activity goes into the fund. KalaSudha, a family-run, self-funded social enterprise, decides which concerts, recordings and promotion the fund pays for. Businesses and individuals add to it by sponsoring a concert or a recording.
