# Update your name or phone number

 

Open Settings from the account menu and edit First name, Last name or Phone. Then press Save. The phone number is a contact field only; you cannot sign in with it.

To update the name on your KalaSudha account, or your phone number, open Settings from the account menu and edit First name, Last name or Phone. Then press Save. You do not need your password for these fields.

## Change your name or phone number

1. [Sign in](/en-int/user/login).
2. Open the account menu.
3. Choose **Settings**.
4. Edit **First name** or **Last name**. The form needs a first name, so that box cannot be left empty.
5. To change your number, edit **Phone**.
6. Press **Save**.

## What your phone number is for

The phone number is a contact field only. You cannot sign in with it. Sign in with your email address or username and your password, as [Log in to your KalaSudha account](/en-int/help/account-sign-in/log-in-to-your-kalasudha-account) explains.

## Change your email address

The email address sits on the same Settings page, but changing it asks for your current password. Follow [How do I change the email address on my account?](/en-int/help/account-sign-in/how-do-i-change-the-email-address-on-my-account)

## Other details you may want to change

Settings changes the details on your account. To change the name or email on an order you have already placed, read [Change the name or email on a booking](/help/events-tickets/change-the-name-or-email-on-a-booking).
