Your child learns under your own account. Add them as a learner, then switch to their profile whenever they have a class. You pay, you book, and the emails come to you.

Add a learner

  1. Sign in and go to /learn.
  2. Select Learners at the top of the page. This opens Who is learning?
  3. Select Add learner.
  4. Enter a Nickname for your child.
  5. Add their Date of birth if you wish. We use it to decide when they can have their own login. You can leave it blank.
  6. Tick the box to confirm you are their parent or guardian. We need this for anyone under 18, and for any learner with no date of birth.
  7. Choose an avatar or upload a photo, and pick a colour.
  8. Select Add learner.

Add a profile for each child. All of them sit under the one account.

Switch between learners

  1. On /learn, select Learners, or the name of the learner you are viewing as.
  2. Select the learner. A bar at the top reads Viewing as and their nickname.
  3. Their courses, lessons and practice assignments now show.
  4. Select Switch back to return to your own profile.

Book lessons for a learner

Once you have added a learner, the booking page asks Who is this session for? Choose Me or your child. The class belongs to your child, and you reach it by switching to them. For the booking steps, see Book a one-to-one session.

Who gets the emails

Booking emails go to the account that paid. To share them with another parent, open Who is learning?, select Manage access under your child, and invite them by email. Choose who they are and what they can do, then select Send invitation. The invitation lasts 14 days. If you tick Message teachers for them, they receive copies of the booking emails once they accept.

When your child is older

From age 13, with a date of birth recorded, you can give your child their own login. They keep their courses, finished lessons and booked sessions, and you still see them on your learners list.

If this does not work

  • "Please confirm you are this learner's parent or guardian.": tick the consent box and save again.
  • No Learners button: make sure you are signed in, then reload /learn. The button shows for every signed-in account. If you have picked a learner, it shows their name in place of Learners.
  • No "Who is this session for?" question: add the learner first, then start the booking again.

For anything else, write to [email protected] with your account email and your child's nickname.
