About KalaSudha in Cardiff

KalaSudha is planning concerts and workshops for people looking for Indian classical music in Cardiff. We want more listeners to hear top-class musicians live and more learners to work with them in person. Dates and venues are still to be confirmed.

Samarpan's UTSAV introduced Indian classical music to its Cardiff festival programme in 2026. At the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, its bill paired Indian classical dance with a vocal concert. If you have encountered the music through dance, a concert gives you time to listen to the musicians as the main event.

Our Cardiff workshops will depend on sufficient local interest and suitable arrangements. They would give learners an opportunity to work with visiting musicians, while KalaSudha's online courses provide a separate route into regular study. Each course is built by its instructor with KalaSudha, and top educationists vet the structure and content. Online study is available now.

Our events programme introduces the musicians and performances we present. Press Register for updates for Cardiff concert and workshop announcements that include programme details and booking information once arrangements are confirmed.

Why Cardiff

What sets KalaSudha apart in Cardiff

  • For listeners drawn to voice

An interest in singing or dance can lead you to a concert. Our Cardiff plans welcome listeners discovering Indian classical music alongside those who already follow its performers.

  • Learning face to face

A workshop can bring a learner and a musician together for practical work. Local sessions remain dependent on enough interest and confirmed arrangements; online study is available separately through KalaSudha.

  • Follow the Cardiff programme

Local updates will help you keep track as concerts and workshops take shape. Programme announcements will explain what is planned and carry booking information when an event is ready.
