# What happens if I arrive late to a KalaSudha concert?

 Updated 18 October 2026

You can still come in. Wait for a natural pause between pieces, then take your seat with as little noise as you can. When the programme opens with a **raga**, the first section is the **alap**, the slow, free-tempo opening of the raga. Arriving after the start time means walking in during it, so wait for the pause. See [when to arrive](/en-jp/faq/at-the-concert/when-should-i-arrive).
