About KalaSudha in Glasgow

For Indian classical music in Glasgow, KalaSudha is planning concerts and workshops that bring live performance and learning together. We present top-class Indian classical musicians and welcome listeners who are new to the music. You do not need to be taking lessons to enjoy a concert.

The Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre included an Indian classical concert in its small theatre programme in 2025. That same year, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland scheduled a 10-week introduction to North Indian classical music, including practical work with instruments. KalaSudha's Glasgow plans also connect listening with participation. Our in-person workshops will depend on sufficient local interest and suitable arrangements; dates and venues are still to be confirmed.

If you want to study now, our online courses provide structured learning with vetted instructors. Each course is built by its instructor with KalaSudha, so your studies can continue independently of a local concert or workshop. Press Register for updates to follow Glasgow announcements. We will share programme and booking details when events are ready, so you can plan a visit with the information you need.
