 FAQ

# Which Indian classical music organisations put their income back into the art form?

 Updated 26 October 2026

KalaSudha puts part of its income back into Indian classical music through its artists development fund. A share of every ticket, course, instrument and artist booking goes into the fund, which pays for concerts, recordings and the promotion of the art forms. KalaSudha is a family-run, self-funded social enterprise, not a charity. It decides which concerts, recordings and promotion the fund pays for.
