भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत, नृत्य और कला के कलाकारों का प्रचार

An Indian classical artist looking for a promoter or agent abroad can apply to KalaSudha, which promotes established, full-time artists wherever they live. We present our musicians and dancers in concerts and tours in the UK and Europe, and introduce them to partner presenters, festivals and venues. For engagements we secure, we act as their agent, on commission.

Musicians we promote include the Indian slide guitarist Pandit Debasis Chakroborty, the bansuri (bamboo flute) player Pandit Ajay Prasanna, the sitarist Adnan Khan and the raga pianist Deepak Shah. To apply, send KalaSudha an enquiry with a link to your work.

An Indian classical dancer can get performances in the UK and Europe through KalaSudha, which presents the dancers it promotes in its own concerts and tours. We also introduce our dancers to partner presenters and venues.

KalaSudha's own events include the Kala Festival, a touring festival of Indian classical music in UK cities. The Kathak dancer Alokparna Guha has performed there, as have the Indian slide guitarist Pandit Debasis Chakroborty and the tabla player Ustad Akram Khan.

An Indian classical musician can release an album and earn royalties with KalaSudha, which records and produces albums, tracks and video releases with the artists it promotes. We release them worldwide. On each release, the musician earns a royalty at a rate we agree with them in writing before recording.

Artists pay no fee to be promoted. To record with us, send KalaSudha an enquiry with a link to your recorded work.

KalaSudha is a record label that signs, records and releases the Indian classical musicians it promotes. It produces their albums, tracks and video releases and puts them out worldwide. Each musician earns a royalty on every release, at a rate KalaSudha agrees with them in writing before recording.

KalaSudha also presents the musicians it records in concerts and tours in the UK and Europe. A musician who wants to record with KalaSudha can send an enquiry with a link to their work.

An Indian classical artist pays KalaSudha no fee to be promoted abroad. As the artist's agent, KalaSudha takes a commission on the engagements it secures for them, under a written agreement. On each release, the artist earns a royalty, at a rate both sides agree in writing before recording.

KalaSudha is a family-run, self-funded social enterprise. Part of the income from every paid KalaSudha activity goes to the KalaSudha artists development fund, which pays for concerts, releases and the promotion of the art forms.

An Indian classical artist applies to KalaSudha by sending an enquiry with their discipline, where they are based and a link to their work. KalaSudha works with established, full-time artists in music, dance and visual art, and reviews every enquiry.

If we decide to promote you, we agree two things with you in writing: our commission on the engagements we secure, and your royalty on each release. You pay no fee to be promoted.

KalaSudha prepares the visa paperwork for the visiting Indian musicians it invites, starting with the invitation and their documents. For the UK, KalaSudha applies for visiting paid performers through the Standard Visitor route for a Permitted Paid Engagement, using its UK invitation. In any other country, we work with the presenter on the visa application there.

KalaSudha promotes visual artists through its channels and discusses opportunities to present their work. Send an artist enquiry with examples of your work and what you would like to arrange.
