Choose Language from the site menu and pick one of 23 languages. The page you are on reloads in the language you chose.

Change the language when signed out

  1. Click the "…" button at the top right of the page.
  2. Choose Language. It shows the current language code, such as EN.
  3. Pick a language from the list. A tick marks the one in use.

On a phone, the menu does not show the "…" button or a Language option. Sign in and use the sidebar, or add the language code after kalasudha.com in the address bar: kalasudha.com/hi for Hindi, kalasudha.com/ta for Tamil.

Change the language when signed in

  1. Open the sidebar. On a phone, press the menu button at the top left first.
  2. At the foot of the sidebar, choose Language.
  3. Pick a language from the list.

Languages you can choose

English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, French, Dutch, Spanish, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Nepali, Chinese (Simplified), German, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Italian. Some names appear in their own script in the list. Urdu pages read from right to left.

What is translated

Most menus, buttons and other site text switch to your language. Checkout and your account pages follow it too. Events, courses, artist profiles, instruments, ragas, albums, music pages and FAQs can carry translations as well. A page with no translation yet shows in English.

Some emails arrive in English whatever language you chose. Ticket confirmations are among them.

If this does not work

  • Part of a page stays in English. That text has no translation yet. The rest of the site keeps your language.
  • The wrong language keeps coming back. The language sits in the web address, for example kalasudha.com/hi/. Open Language and choose English, or remove the code from the address.
  • A translation reads wrong. Email [email protected] with the page address and the words in question.
