Pandit Debasis Chakroborty closes The Pulse with Thames - The Eternal Rhythm, a Bhawaiya melody on solo Indian slide guitar. Bhawaiya is the folk song of North Bengal, from the districts around Cooch Behar and Rangpur, sung in long held notes with a break in the voice that the slide guitar's glide can copy. The title carries that river-country song to the Thames.
