Indian classical music membership from KalaSudha opens today
KalaSudha membership opens today in three tiers. Practise with tools in your browser, or add concert streaming and 50% ticket codes. Join on the membership page.
KalaSudha's Indian classical music membership is open today, in three tiers. The Sadhana digital tools subscription is for musicians and learners who practise. The Rasika membership is for listeners, and the Ashraya patron membership is for patrons who support the artists. Each tier includes everything in the one below it, and concert streaming for the Rasika membership and the Ashraya patron membership is live from today. Choose yours on the membership page.
Sadhana digital tools subscription: practice tools in your browser
Sadhana means dedicated daily practice. The Sadhana digital tools subscription gives you an electronic tanpura and tabla, and both run in your web browser. The tanpura holds the drone that a singer or player sets the raga against. The tabla keeps the rhythmic cycle.
The subscription also includes KalaSudha Composer, our notation composer, where you write music in sargam notation. Sargam names the notes Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha and Ni. The subscription also brings 1 GB of storage and the members' newsletter.
Rasika membership: stream concerts and pay less for tickets
A rasika is the informed listener who savours the music. The Rasika membership includes everything in the Sadhana digital tools subscription and adds concert streaming. Watch KalaSudha concerts live, or go back through the concert archive.
You also get four ticket codes a year, each for one ticket at 50% off. With the Rasika membership you book before general sale and take 10% off courses and workshops at the KalaSudha Academy.
Ashraya patron membership and the artists development fund
Ashraya means shelter and support. The Ashraya patron membership includes everything in the Rasika membership. In place of Rasika's four codes a year, patrons receive two ticket codes at 50% off and two at 25% off every month. They book first, ahead of Rasika membership holders, and get 15% off Academy courses and workshops, with 5 GB of storage.
Patrons can add their name to the patrons list. They also join a monthly call with members and the artists' advisor, where they help shape KalaSudha's projects and plans. A share of every paid activity goes to our artists development fund, which pays for concerts, recordings and the promotion of the art forms.
How ticket codes work
- Each code is for one ticket at any KalaSudha concert, in any city or country.
- You can give a code to anyone, anywhere.
- A code stays valid for 12 months from issue.
- The four codes of the Rasika membership sit in your account together, for use in any month, and renew each membership year.
- A code from a cancelled ticket order returns to your account.
- Codes apply to concerts KalaSudha runs, never to events by other presenters.
The events page lists every concert open for booking.

You can cancel at any time. Your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for, with no refund for a part period. Unused ticket codes stay usable until that period ends, then lapse.
