What is St Andrew's Hall in Norwich like for a concert?

Updated

St Andrew's Hall is a Grade I listed medieval hall in the centre of Norwich, seating up to 767 under a hammer-beam roof, or 900 standing. Audiences sit in the nave of the former Dominican friary church, Blackfriars, which the friars began around 1327. The nave standing today dates from a rebuild of 1440 to 1470, after a fire in 1413.

Norwich City Council runs it as the largest of The Halls and publishes venue details at norwich.gov.uk/thehalls. For directions, see How do I get to St Andrew's Hall in Norwich? For KalaSudha concerts in the city, see where to hear Indian classical music in Norwich.
