Origins & Context

Raag Hansdhwani es un sonido brillante y edificante. Su nombre, "El Grito del Cisne", coincide con su carácter grácil y ascendente. A diferencia de muchos ragas vespertinos que se centran en el anhelo o la paz profunda, Hansdhwani, aunque generalmente se toca al atardecer temprano, tiene una energía que se siente fresca y llena de luz.

Hansdhwani usa solo cinco notas, omitiendo la cuarta y la sexta, y se enfoca en intervalos naturales. Esto le da un sonido firme y claro.
