For weddings, family celebrations, private parties and corporate events
Live Indian classical musicians for weddings and events
KalaSudha books Indian classical musicians for weddings and events anywhere in the world: send us an enquiry and we reply with a proposal and a quote. Kathak and other classical dancers can join them.
What KalaSudha brings to your wedding or event
KalaSudha brings Indian classical musicians to weddings and to private and corporate events anywhere in the world, and classical dancers can perform with them. The typical format is a duo recital: one musician on a melody instrument or voice, with a tabla player. A sitar and tabla duo is one example, and the melody can also come from instruments such as bansuri (the Indian bamboo flute) or Indian slide guitar. The musicians can add a talk or demonstration that introduces the music to your guests.
To book Kathak or other Indian classical dancers for a wedding or corporate event, ask for them in your enquiry, and KalaSudha books them with the musicians. Where you need it, we bring the full stage package: the equipment and crew to present the artists, with the technical design and safety in our hands.
Part of every fee goes to the KalaSudha artists development fund, which pays for concerts, releases and the promotion of the art forms.
Occasions we book musicians for
Weddings
KalaSudha brings live music to the wedding ceremony and the reception, and to the sangeet, mehndi and engagement parties around them. The artists also travel to destination weddings abroad. You can hire a sitar and tabla duo and add Kathak dancers.
Family celebrations and private parties
Book live Indian classical music for a birthday, an anniversary or a family gathering. Tell us about the occasion and your guests, and we propose the musicians and a programme that suits the celebration.
