Privacy Policy

We at KalaSudha Ltd are committed to protecting the privacy rights of our users. Therefore, we designed and maintained, on an ongoing basis, a privacy compliance framework under which our users can get information and exercise their rights concerning their information and privacy.

Our privacy policy is designed to inform you about the information we collect, how we use it, and your options for specific uses of information. Key elements of our full privacy policy are summarized below for your convenience.

Our privacy policy applies to all users of Our Services. This summary is designed to provide you with the highlights in an easy-to-understand language. However, the full version of our privacy policy is legally binding.

Information We Collect and How We Use It: When you use Our Services, we collect certain information about your use, interaction with content, the site from which you arrived and to which you are heading, and some additional technical information about the device and system from which you are consuming the services. Upon your choice to use a “click to call” service, we may offer, the phone number from which you made the call may be collected for a limited time of up to 3 months.

The information is used to operate our Site and App, provide you with Our Services, improve them over time, monitor analytics and statistics, and enable us to sync and resolve payment issues with our business partners (including clients, vendors, and affiliates).

We will not share your information unless we are required to by law or as required to provide you with Our Services.

Enquiries and forms: When you send us an enquiry, through our website, by email, or through a form on Facebook or Instagram, we collect the contact details and the information you choose to give us. We use them only to reply and to work out whether we can work together. When you ask for updates on a course, discipline or event, we also use them as set out under Registering interest in courses and events. For artists enquiring about teaching, that includes discipline, grading, awards, qualifications, positions held, teaching experience and links to your work.

We keep enquiry records for two years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We do not sell this information or share it outside KalaSudha Ltd, other than with the service providers who host our systems. Write to [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.

Registering interest in courses and events

On some course, discipline and event pages you can register your interest. You can do this on our website or through a form on Facebook or Instagram.

What we collect

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your WhatsApp number with its country code
  • your country
  • your experience
  • the language you want updates in
  • how you would like to learn: one-to-one or in a cohort
  • the course, discipline or event page you registered from

Why we use it

We send you the updates you asked for about that course, discipline or event. We also use your answers to understand who is interested, so we can plan sessions.

We send WhatsApp updates because you agree to them when you tick the box on the form. We hold and answer your registration because we have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

What happens after you register

We send you one WhatsApp message to confirm your registration. Reply YES to confirm you want updates on WhatsApp. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOP ALL at any time, and we stop WhatsApp updates to that number. We keep your replies with your registration.

Course updates are sent automatically. A person from KalaSudha may also contact you about your registration, on WhatsApp or by email.

Where we keep it

We keep your form answers and a contact record with your name, email and phone number. The record also notes which course or discipline you registered for, how you want to learn and how you reached us. We keep your WhatsApp opt-in and the WhatsApp messages between us.

Forms on Facebook and Instagram

A form on Facebook or Instagram asks for the same details. You enter them on Meta's service, and Meta keeps its own copy under its own terms and privacy policy. Meta passes your answers to us through a spreadsheet we keep with Google. From then on we treat them exactly like a registration on our website. WhatsApp messages travel through Meta's WhatsApp Business service.

How long we keep it

We keep registrations for two years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Stopping updates and your rights

Reply STOP on WhatsApp to end WhatsApp updates. Write to [email protected] to stop email from us, to see what we hold about you, or to correct it. To have your details deleted, follow the steps under Deleting your data.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. That includes contact details from our website forms, from forms on Facebook or Instagram, and from WhatsApp messages. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and the email address or phone number you used with us. We delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.

We truly encourage you to read, understand, and revisit our full privacy policy occasionally.
