Pandit Debasis Chakroborty closes his performance of Raag Bageshwari with the Jhala, the fast, pulsed section that ends a classical raga recital. Performed on Indian slide guitar at Purvi Festival 2023, Motihari, Bihar, the Jhala increases rhythmic density using repeated strokes, building energy to close the performance.
On the album, this is the second and final track. It follows the Madhya Laya, which established the raga's melodic content at medium tempo.
