Giuliano Modarelli is an internationally acclaimed Italian guitarist and composer, celebrated for his distinctive blend of Indian classical, jazz, and contemporary world music. Based in London, he has developed a unique voice on the guitar, drawing deeply from Indian rhythmic and melodic traditions while maintaining the freedom and improvisational spirit of jazz. A long-time collaborator with some of the finest Indian classical artists, including Pandit Debasis Chakroborty, Shahbaz Hussain, RN Prakash, and Pandit Ajay Prasanna, Giuliano’s music bridges cultures with fluid virtuosity and emotional depth. He is also a founding member of the award-winning fusion ensemble Kaya and the Quest Ensemble. He continues to perform and teach worldwide, inspiring audiences with his cross-cultural artistry.

Hanif Khan’s musical journey began under the tutelage of his father, Ustad Hidayat Khan, who was a well-respected tabla player in India. Hanif Khan is an expert in Delhi kayda tabla playing. Hanif Khan is renowned for sharing classical Indian forms of music and for creating new forms by lending his talent to the genre of 'fusion'. Hanif Khan's musical career has taken an international route. An accomplished, classically trained Indian percussionist, he is versatile. He has accompanied acclaimed artists such as Hari Prashad Chaurasia, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Ghulam Ali, Ghulam Mustafa, Pandit Debasis Chakroborty, Pandit Ajay Prasanna, and El Massry Hussein, and Rajan Sajan, among others.
Sitar
Jonathan Mayer began playing music at the age of five, learning the violin from his grandfather, Albert Hepton, piano from James Methuen-Campbell, and composition from his father. At sixteen, he took up sitar under Western sitarist Clem Alford, a disciple of the Senia Gharana. In 1993, he earned his B.Mus. (Hons) from Birmingham Conservatoire, where he studied composition with Andrew Downes and sitar performance. He then refined his technique in the Imdadkhani gharana with Ustad Wajahat Khan and the Senia veen-kar style under Pandit Subroto Roy Chowdhury. Today, he continues advanced training in the Lucknow-Shahjahanpur gharana with Ustad Irfan Muhammad Khan and studies taal talim with Ustad Yousuf Ali Khan.
Born into a musical family in Calcutta and trained by great masters of the Banaras Gharana, Kousic is admired worldwide for his powerful yet sensitive tabla playing. His energetic performances bring a new life to the stage, whether in classical concerts, dance accompaniment, or cross-cultural collaborations. As an Artist in Residence with Milapfest in Liverpool, and through tours across the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia, he has shared his rhythmic mastery with audiences in many of the world’s most famous venues.
RN Prakash is a versatile percussionist who specialises in South Indian percussion instruments such as the ghatam, khanjira, and mridangam. He learned his art from the age of 6 in Bangalore, India, under the tutelage of K.N. Krishna Murthy.
Raymond Wui Man Yiu is a classically trained pianist based in London. Born in Hong Kong, he moved to Aberdeen in 2008 to study at the Aberdeen City Music School under the tutelage of Peter Evans. There, he made his concerto debut in 2010 with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 and, after winning Aberdeen Young Musician of the Year, went on to perform works by Schumann, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff and Grieg at festivals like the Aberdeen International Youth Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.In 2012, Raymond won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with Distinction studying with Joan Havill. He has since collected awards at the Springboard, Worthing, and Edinburgh festivals; placed at the Bromsgrove, Moray, and Windsor international competitions; and in 2019, took Third Prize at the Norah Sande Awards and the Christopher Duke International Piano Competition. He also joined the KNS Classical label.Most recently, he completed an Artist Diploma at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under the guidance of Gabriele Baldocci, winning the John Longmire and Alfred Kitchin Competitions for his performances of Beethoven and Schumann. As part of the Bolling Trio, he won the Carne Trust Chamber Music Competition, and he’s appeared as a soloist in Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto with the London Gay Symphony Orchestra. His studies have been supported by the Felix Marr Award, the Leathersellers’ Company, the Dewar Arts Awards, and others.Alongside performing, Raymond teaches piano at St Albans High School for Girls, Newton Prep and St Philomena’s. His students have won scholarships to Wells Cathedral Music School, Alleyn’s, St Dunstan’s College, Royal Grammar School (Dubai) and Kingsdale. He is also researching the teaching methods and music of Tobias Matthay, a pivotal English piano pedagogue of the 20th century.

Rekesh Chauhan is a multi‑award‑winning British Indian pianist and composer, known for his groundbreaking fusion of Eastern and Western classical traditions. With early grounding in Indian classical music under his musician father and formal training in Western composition during his university studies, he has melded these influences into a distinctive and evocative musical voice. He holds a first‑class honours degree in Economics from the University of Leicester. Since the release of his debut album Beyond Roots (2015), which notably featured tabla maestro Kousic Sen Ji and garnered national radio attention, Rekesh has continued to build a reputation as a composer of depth and innovation.
Sam Evans is a contemporary Australian tabla player. He works as a performer, composer and educator in Melbourne. Following a decade of study with Pandit Anindo Chatterjee in Kolkata, India and with Ustad Zakir Hussain in America, he is now a regular international performer of both traditional Indian music and contemporary world music.

Satwinder Pal Singh is a London-based sarangi player from Moga, Punjab. He and his father are the first father-son Top Grade sarangi players in the Sikh Panth.

Shahbaz Hussain is a renowned and accomplished tabla virtuoso. He is considered one of Europe's finest players, known for his dynamic and intricate performances in Indian classical music and fusion projects. Shahbaz regularly travels across the world to present performances, including throughout Europe, North America & the Asian subcontinent. He has performed in many prestigious venues, including the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., Lincoln Centre in New York, and London's Royal Albert & Queen Elizabeth Halls.
