Find an artist's albums and videos on KalaSudha

KalaSudha's Indian classical music albums and videos sit on two listing pages: Releases for albums, EPs and singles, and the Video Library for performances and lessons on film. Type the artist's name into the search box on each, or use the filters to narrow the list.

Find an artist's albums

1. Open the Releases page. The footer link Recordings and the Albums item in the Music menu lead there too.
2. Type the artist's name in Search releases....
3. To narrow the list, pick a Release Type: Album, EP or Single.
4. Each card shows the title, the artist, the tracks, the length and the year. Press View Album to open it.

Site search finds albums too: type the artist or the album name, and album results carry a View Album button. See Search KalaSudha for an artist, album or event.

Find an artist's videos

1. Open the Video Library.
2. Type the artist's name in Search videos..., or open the filters. On a phone, press Show Filters first.
3. Under Artists, pick the artist. Recording Type narrows the list to one kind of film, such as Live Performance.
4. Under Ragas, pick a raga to see videos of it.

Videos do not appear in site search, so start from the Video Library.

Start from the artist

Open All Artists and type a name in Search artists..., or filter by city or gharana. Press View profile on a card to read about the artist. Then search that name on Releases and in the Video Library as above.

It works the other way round as well. On an album page, the artist's name links to their profile.

Start from a raga

Every raga page, such as the Yaman page, has a Recordings & Performances section for KalaSudha recordings of that raga. What does a raga page on KalaSudha tell me? walks through it.

If this does not work

If a search on Releases returns nothing, try the surname alone or a second spelling of the name. In the Video Library, clear the Artists and Ragas filters and search again.
