Seating at KalaSudha concerts depends on the venue. Some concerts have reserved seats that you pick on a seating plan, some sell seating zones where you sit anywhere in your zone, and some have unreserved seating. The booking page shows which kind a concert has before you pay.

How to tell before you book

Open the concert from the events page and press Book Now. What opens tells you the seating:

  • A plan marked "Stage" with numbered seats: reserved seating.
  • A zone on the plan with no seat numbers, where you choose how many tickets: a seating zone. You sit anywhere in it.
  • The Select Tickets page with a list of ticket types and a quantity beside each: no seat numbers. You sit anywhere in the hall, or anywhere in the zone your ticket type names.

Reserved seats

You pick the exact seats on the plan, up to six in one order. Each ticket in the PDF shows its seat. Choose your seats on the seating plan walks through the steps.

Seating zones

A zone without numbered seats sells a set number of places. Your ticket gets you into that zone, and you take any free seat in it on the day. The zone's name and price show on the plan.

Unreserved seating

Your ticket gets you into the concert with no seat number, and you take any free seat when you arrive. Arriving when the doors open gives you the widest choice. Read When should I arrive? before the day.

How to read your ticket

A ticket shows a seat label only when you booked a reserved seat. No label? You sit anywhere in your zone or in the hall. Find your tickets after booking shows where your tickets are.

Sitting together

With reserved seats, pick the seats side by side in one order. For more than six, read Book for a group of more than six. With unreserved seating or a zone, arrive together.
