Pandit Ajay Prasanna closed the Raga Unison at Edinburgh double bill concert at Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh on 16 November 2025 with "Mountain Dhun", a bansuri composition performed alongside Ustad Shahbaz Hussain on tabla and R. N. Prakash on ghatam and kanjira.

A dhun is a melodic composition that follows a scale or raga outline without the structured development of a formal raga presentation. Ajay Prasanna's bansuri builds phrases that rise and circle, evoking the contours of open highland terrain. Ustad Shahbaz Hussain's tabla and R. N. Prakash's ghatam and kanjira each follow the flute line independently, the North and South Indian percussion running in parallel conversation and giving the performance its rhythmic weight.
