Pandit Ajay Prasanna closed the London Ragas Fusion: Flute, Piano, Tabla & Ghatam in Dialogue concert at Duke Hall, Royal Academy of Music, London, on 15 November 2025 with the thumri "Yaad Piya Ki Aaye". Ustad Shahbaz Hussain played tabla, Rekesh Chauhan piano, and R.N. Prakash ghatam.

"Yaad Piya Ki Aaye" is a thumri of longing, its text a woman's lament for an absent lover. The bansuri carries the vocal line with all its turns and ornaments intact. Rekesh Chauhan's piano places chord clusters beneath the melody, keeping the melodic line intact. R.N. Prakash's ghatam drives a clay-pot pulse that anchors the ensemble. Ustad Shahbaz Hussain's tabla fills the rhythmic gaps, pushing each phrase forward.
