To watch your class recordings on KalaSudha, open the course from My Courses and go to the lesson the class belongs to. The recording sits under the session once it has finished processing. You watch it on the site, and it stays available for one year after the module finishes.

Which classes are recorded

  • We record every booked one-to-one lesson, so you can play it back.
  • A batch class is recorded only when the instructor turns recording on, so ask your instructor whether a given class will have one.

Find a recording

  1. Sign in.
  2. Go to My Courses.
  3. Open the course under My Courses.
  4. Open the level.
  5. Open the module.
  6. Open the lesson for the class you want to watch.
  7. Find the session. The Session room link and the recording sit together.

The recording shows up there a short time after the class ends, once it has finished processing.

Watch on the site

Recordings play on the site only. You cannot download them. Each recording stays available for one year after the module finishes. Sign in on a phone, a tablet or a computer to watch.

Who can see it

A recording stays private to you and your instructor. If you booked for a child learner, you watch their recordings after you switch to them. See Add a child as a learner.

If this does not work

No recording under the session

Processing takes a short time after the class. Check again later the same day and refresh the page. In a batch class, your instructor may not have recorded that class.

The page says "Access denied"

Check that you signed in with the account that booked the class, or that you switched to the right learner.

The recording stops or will not play

Try another browser, or read Fix sound or video problems during a class.

To send your own playing to your teacher, read Send a practice recording for feedback. If a recording is still missing the next day, email [email protected] with the course, the class date and time, and the instructor's name. We reply within one working day. See Contact us.
