Ticket types: early bird, general admission, student and Full Day

Early bird tickets are the first tickets on sale for a KalaSudha concert, sold at the early bird price until the date shown on the event page. After that date, general admission tickets take over. Some concerts also sell student tickets, and events with more than one concert in a day may sell a Full Day ticket. Each event page lists its own ticket types and prices.

Where to see the ticket types for a concert

Open the concert from the events page and press Book Now. The Select Tickets page lists every ticket type on sale, each with its price and the words "Including booking fee". At a concert with reserved seats, each zone on the seating plan lists its types instead.

What are early bird tickets?

An Early Bird ticket sells from the day booking opens until its end date. While it runs, the event page carries an Early Bird badge. On the seating plan, a zone shows a line such as "Early Bird … until" a date.

When the date passes, the early bird stops selling and General Admission sells from then on. At a concert with reserved seats, both can sell from the same seats, so the early bird gives you the same choice of seats at the early price.

General admission

General admission is the standard ticket for the concert. On the seating plan it shows a line such as "General Admission … from" a date: the day the early bird ends.

Student tickets

Where a concert sells a Student ticket, bring your student ID to the door.

Full Day tickets

A Full Day ticket covers every concert of an event that runs more than one concert at one venue on the same day. It costs less than buying each concert on its own. You show the same ticket again at the next concert. At workshops, look for single-session tickets, full-day tickets or a package, depending on what the workshop sells.

At some venues the seating zones are the ticket types, with a price for each zone. Choose your seats on the seating plan shows how zones work, and Is my seat reserved, or do I sit anywhere? explains the seating kinds.

Questions about ticket types

When does the early bird price end?

On the date shown on that concert's event page and seating plan. Each concert sets its own date.

Can I upgrade my general admission ticket to a better zone?

No. A booking cannot change to another ticket type. Read Can I change my booking to another date or ticket type?

Is the booking fee included in the price?
