KalaSudha plans each Indian classical music workshop for schools with the music teacher, around the curriculum or exam course. Send an enquiry from the Indian classical music for schools page and we send a proposal with the project plan and the costs.

Who can ask

Schools, music hubs and school groups, music schools and conservatoires, colleges and university music departments can all send an enquiry. A classroom music teacher can write on their own behalf.

What a project can be

A project can be a workshop in class, a concert at your school, a residency, a masterclass or teacher training for your music staff. The artists we promote lead each one.

Send a schools enquiry

  1. Open the schools page and press Send an enquiry. The form "Schools enquiry" opens.
  2. Fill in your first name and email, then choose the answer that fits you under Who are you?
  3. Add Your school or institution. Your role and a WhatsApp number are optional.
  4. In the box that asks what you want for your pupils or students, give the age group, the curriculum or exam course and the kind of project you have in mind.
  5. Add your safeguarding and insurance requirements in the same box.
  6. Answer the check question and press Send an enquiry, then press Review and confirm or decline in the email we send you, within seven days.

Safeguarding and insurance

We agree the safeguarding checks your school needs, such as a DBS check in England, and the insurance while we plan the project. You can state your requirements in the enquiry.

What happens next

Our team receives your enquiry only after you confirm it. We then reply by email within one working day. In the page's words: "We send a proposal with the project plan and the costs. A school can use both in its own funding application."
